The Orem Library summer reading program has come to an end! As a community, we read a lot, kept rainbow-colored sharks fed, puzzled our way through sea riddles to find Atlantis, escaped from the clutches of the mysterious Bermuda Triangle, and much more. Here are a few more statistics to wrap up summer reading and celebrate our efforts with a collective pat on the back for a summer well-read!

READING MINUTES & SESSIONS

As a community, we read more than 1.6 million minutes and earned more than 25,000 badges. WOW!

TOTAL REGISTERED READERS

776 adults registered for our first ever adult-specific summer reading challenge? Nice!

MOST MINUTES READ BY READER & AGE GROUP

Liberty K read for a total of 280 hours or almost 11.7 days. Phenomenal job!!

FINALE ATTENDANCE & MOST POPULAR ACTIVITY BADGES

This was by far our highest attended summer reading finale program ever, with 864 people in attendance. In fact, the Pools of Possibilities, an activity badge earned by going swimming, was our most completed activity badge this year.

Our program definitely went swimmingly! Thanks to everyone who explored the depths of the ocean with us this summer. Don’t forget to check Beanstack for new reading challenges coming in August.

P.S. The Scera Pool Party was mer-mazing!!
