Music and Movement is a class designed for toddlers and their caregivers. Books, instruments, songs, fingerplays, and dances encourage the development of skills such as imitation, vocalizing, self and peer awareness, and much more. This virtual children’s program is for children ages 18 months to 3 and their caregivers.

Check It Out! Book Club

7 PM | 2nd Tuesday (February 9, March 9, April 13) | Zoom

Join us for the monthly virtual book club for children in grades 4–6 and their caregivers held on the second Tuesday of the month. February’s book will be The Tale of Despereaux by Kate DiCamillo. Registration is required and is limited to 15 students and their caregivers. Register online or at any children’s desk. Once you are registered, you may pick up a reserved copy of the book at the main floor children’s desk.

10 AM | The Kid Zone

A book podcast for kids of all ages! Listen in each month as we review and discuss books from several categories, including picture books, folktales, graphic novels, junior Spanish books, and more, all relating to a special topic. Our first episode aired on February 3, World Read Aloud Day, and featured books honoring Black History Month.

Little Learners Storytime Podcast

For ages 3–6 and their caregivers. Miss Amy’s monthly auditory storytime includes all your favorite elements: songs, a story, and even early literacy ideas for caregivers at the end.

All-Together and Bilingual Storytime

All-Together Storytime is for ages 0–5 and takes place Tuesdays at 10 AM. Join us virtually on the Orem Public Library’s Facebook for songs, rhymes, stories, and activities for early childhood that introduce our young patrons to the world of words and storytelling.

Bilingual Storytime is for all ages and takes place Thursdays at 10 AM. ¡Todas las edades son bienvenidas! Join Miss EJ virtually on the Orem Public Library’s Facebook for stories and songs in Spanish and English. First Thursday of the month is Spanish only. Solamente español el primer jueves del mes.
