The Pilgrim’s Progress

KZ 3138

This is the animated version of The Pilgrim’s Progress, a book written in 1678 with a second installment in 1684. It has never been out of print and is second only to the Bible in print longevity and popularity.  It follows a man named Christian and his journey from the City of Destruction to the Celestial City. It is a symbolic vision of a good man’s pilgrimage through life. I had never read the book, but had heard about it over the years. It was quite a gripping tale. The animation is  well done and engaging. Although it is in the kids’ section, anyone would enjoy this engrossing tale.
