Finn lives by the sea and celebrates what would have been his grandfather’s 90th birthday by building his own ship from beach scraps. He falls asleep in his ship and journeys to the enchanted location his grandfather describes as “a place far away where ocean meets sky.” The illustrations are gorgeous–a whimsical fantasia of floating castles and ships that illuminate and glow right from the page. The grand double page illustrations are incredibly detailed and give children many things to ponder and look at.
