My Lady Jane
By Brodi Ashton, Cynthia Hand, and Jodi Meadows
Teen Fiction
My Lady Jane is about King Edward VI and a plot to usurp his throne. The king is poisoned by his most trusted advisor, who convinces him to arrange a marriage between Edward’s cousin and the advisor’s son and name them heirs to the throne. Edward must get the throne back with some help from him cousin, Jane, and her new husband, Gifford, who turns into a horse during the day.
If you like fantasy or historical fiction, or especially a combination of both, then I would recommend this book. I would give it 4 out of 5 stars. The beginning was a little bit slow and weird, but by the end I came to enjoy it.
