In The Croods: A New Age, we pick up with the Croods right after they’ve left everything they’ve known before. While they’re hunting for a new place to call home, they come across the last thing they expected to find — three other humans! The Bettermans seem to have life figured out in a super safe home where everything is sleek and modern. But as time goes on, the Croods begin to feel more and more incompatible with the Betterman way of living. Guy is stuck in the middle, having to decide between the life he thinks his parents want for him and the life he wants with Eep. Throw in Gran’s crazy past, tension between adults, and angry monkeys, and both the Croods and the Bettermans are in for the adventure of a lifetime.
After the first Croods movie became an instant classic with my family, we were all excited to see what the sequel would bring. We all laughed, gasped, and laughed some more while we watched it. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who loves kids movies. It has humor that all family members will understand and enjoy. If you liked the first Croods movie, you are sure to like this sequel.
